MatchPrint II |
|
 |
Operating system: Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT.
User interface: MatchPrint II disposes of a very user-friendly and flexible interface.
Print layout: you can determine e.g. the design coordinates, gridlines, arrangement of the images, color chips, comment lines, type and size of step and repeat and last color corrections: brightness, contrast & gamma.
Printing queue: MatchPrint II contains a history of the already printed jobs and a list of the jobs to print out. You can define printing jobs as suspended in order to clean e.g. the printing heads, exchange the fabric or dyes before printing them out.

Color atlas: the built-in color atlas with the respective RGB values simplifies on the one hand the search for particular colors; on the other hand it enables MatchPrint II to process color information of other CAD systems than DGS’ CAD system RAMSETE III. The basic color atlas consists of 73 pages with 135 color cuts on each page. Additional pages containing additional color cuts can be easily generated so that you do not face any limits in creativity.
Saturated colors: MatchPrint II prints for any given ink set all the colors with the highest saturation. This function is very helpful for users who are only interested in highly saturated colors for the given fabric and ink set.
Extra black: MatchPrint II regulates the black tone. You thereby decide whether the desired tone shall have a tinge of blue, red or yellow. This function is very interesting for transfer printing.
Printer calibration: the printer linearization and calibration is indispensable for color accuracy and consistency. MatchPrint II directly linearizes and calibrates the printer by means of a spectrophotometer in function of the fabric and inks employed. The calibration procedure is very simple and fast. Thus, the user can employ any given type of fabric and any set of inks.
Printing quality: MatchPrint II adopts a proprietary technique to optimize dotting side effects. The user can thereby set the dithering degree. MatchPrint II works in the
Spot-Color-mode: uses just the basic colors (e.g. mixed in a color kitchen).
Process-Color-mode: mixes the basic colors during the print in a way that the entire color catalogue or reference colors read by spectrophotometer can be reproduced.
Number of colors: MatchPrint II is currently designed for the management of printers with a range from 4 up to 24 different basic colors.
Spectrophotometer: Spectrolino from GRETAG Imaging (for printer linearization and calibration)
