Yarn Designer
Yarn Designer incorporates the Hue Saturation Value (HSV), also sometimes known as HLS, colour model and uses three separate colour bars to visually control the relative amounts of each. The HSV system is simple to use and it is easy to understand the effect the a change in any one component will have on the overall colour. In addition to this, a colour circle is also used to help locate and adjust a particular shade.

Dobby Designer
Dobby Designer allows you to work with the draft/draw and peg/chain plan or the composite weave structures and automatically generates the draft and pegging. A library of over 700 weaves is provided free with the system. You can, of course, add to this library and save your own weaves, drafts and peg plans. Fancy weave types can also be created (e.g. double cloths, skip dents and cramming, extra warp and weft figuring). Automatic float checking and breaking can be applied to a weave.

Create dobby weaves using up to 40 shafts, or limit the available shafts to match production facilities.

Artwork Designer
Artwork Designer is a comprehensive image creation tool optimised for the creation of artwork images suitable for conversion to jacquard designs. It contains a full range of image editing tools which make it suitable for any type of image creation.
Artwork Designer supports both 24-bit (16.7 million colour) and 8-bit (256 colour) modes. You can convert between each colour mode at any time. It is often useful to carry out the original scanning and image manipulation in 24-bit mode and then convert to 8-bit mode for jacquard artwork use towards the end of the design process.

Jacquard Designer
ScotWeave Jacquard Base Weave Designer is used to create component weaves (base weaves) for jacquard and uses ScotWeave's unique layered approach to aid in the design of complex structures. The screen shows the face weave, back weave, and resulting total weave in separate windows and each can be worked upon separately automatically updating the others. In addition to this separate warp and weft sequence layers can be viewed and worked upon individually (e.g. stitching layers).

Jacquard Looms Control
The ScotWeave Jacquard Looms program is a CAM tool which can take designs created by ScotWeave Jacquard Designer directly into production.
An easy to use, comprehensive harness setup option is provided to create ScotWeave harness plans to match those of you jacquard loom. Up to 13,000 jacquard hooks can be specified. The display of the harness plan can be adjusted (e.g. number of rows and columns) to make it as easy as possible to enter complex harness plans.
